Winter Scene... Paisaje Invernal

I have a bit more homework for you today. I guess I've been inspired lately, or I just love Christmas and that's why I'm making so many cards this week ;-)

Hoy traigo más deberes. Supongo que he estado inspirada ultimamente, o será que me encanta la Navidad y por eso he hecho tantas tarjetas esta semana ;-)
This is for Day 5 of the Holiday Card Workshop Class. We had to make a masculine and a femenine version of a Christmas card and I just loved the idea. As you probably already guessed, this is my masculine card. I wanted to make a winter scene using trees, double embossing, distress inks, second generation stamping and masking fluid. Now, I know it sounds like a lot of things, but it actually took me longer to decide how to use the polaroid in the card than to make it. I'll probably make a video using this technique but with a bigger tree, so it is easier to see. Here is a close up:

Now onto the femenine card:

Ahora la tarjeta femenina:
I had seen some pink Christmas cards, and although I'm not a big fan of pink, I did like them a lot. So I went with pinks, and instead of a polaroid, I made a shaker card with a snow globe ;-) I went with the same straight lines for the rest of the card, and I added black to keep it coordinated. Here is a close up of the shaker "globe":

Look at all that pretty glitter ;-)
So that is my take on Day 5 of OCC Holiday Card Workshop

And I will be entering both cards into the current challenge at Clearly Besotted:

Thanks for stopping by!
