Christmas card and Llueva... Tarjeta Navideña y Llueva
Hiya!
Lately I haven't had much time for crafting or blogging, so today it was a great day, cause I spent some time in the craft room and I made a couple of cards. Here is the card I want to share:
Hola!

I had this idea in my head for a couple of weeks, and I like how it turned out. I wanted to use the vase die from La Pareja Creativa for a Christmas card, as a Christmas ornament. I added some silver embossed pine branches, gems and a die cut bow. And of course I had to use my favorite sentiment this Holiday!

I will be entering this card into the challenge over at Gargamell Scrap. I discovered their blog this week, and I couldn't wait to play along ;-)

Now, there is something else I wanted to share in the blog. If you follow me on Facebook, you probably already know it, but I wanted to share it here too.
We have a new member in our family, and she is taking most of time this past couple of weeks, as we have to get used to each other, and the walks,...
Her name is Llueva:
Ahora, hay una cosilla mas que queria compartir en el blog. Si me sigues es Facebook, ya lo sabras, pero queria ponerlo por aqui tambien. Tenemos un nuevo miembro en la familia, y es lo que me ha tenido tan ocupada las ultimas semanas, ya que nos estamos acostumbrando la una a la otra, y a los paseso, etc...

Isn't she adorable? We were thinking about getting a cat this Christmas, cause we missed having pets, but we couldn't say no to that face. We were at a rural house with friends when she showed up. Apparently her owners left her around there and drove away, and without a chip or a collar, it's impossible to find them. So we waited a couple of weeks, in case somebody was trying to find her, but finally she's ours!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

It's been 2 years!
Hiya!
So yes, today is my 2nd blogaversary! I can't believe it's been 2 years since I started this blog.
It has been a great journey, where everyday I learn something new or meet awesome crafters from anywhere around the world.
I love all the opportunities that this last year gave me. My first DT!
A Blog Named Hero has made this year amazing for me. It is such a fun team, full of talent, and they are so supportive! Love them all ;-)
I have been thinking about changing some things for a while. I started my Etsy shop, and I think it's time I start blogging in Spanish too.
A couple of friends have been asking me to do it for a while, and I thought maybe I get somebody interested in this beautiful hobby :-)
So there you go, soon, I will be blogging in both languages (am I crazy? Probably yes!). We'll see how it goes!
And now, what would be a blogaverssary without a giveaway? Yep, I have a couple of goodies ready for it, but I will be posting the giveaway on monday, cause I want to see if I can get a couple more things tomorrow.
This weekend it's our own (very small) version of CHA, and I'm checking it out tomorrow! Yay! I'll let you know how it goes!
And today I can't leave without sharing another card with you. Yesterday, while I had all the supplies out, I decided I had to make another card, cause I really loved that color combo, so here it is:
So you still have time to play along at Paper Smooches Sparks with this color combo:
I will be entering this card in the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge too, as I used markers to color the cute elephants:
So I will be back to tell you all about our CHA, and to show you my giveaway!!!
Thanks for stopping by and thank you all for your lovely comments and support!

Getting used to it...
Hi everyone!
Just so you know, this is not gonna be a crafty post, just some sharing, but first of all, I wanted to thank everyone for the lovely comments on my Lawnscaping's hop entry! You are all so nice! Thank you!!!
I wanted to write this post, because I felt like I needed to share it here. If you follow me on twitter, you probably already know that we had to say goodbye to our other cat (Pepi) last week.
We knew Pepi had cancer since December, and after a couple of surgeries, we just couldn't do anything else for her. It was heartbreaking to go through it again, and I'm gonna miss her like crazy, specially cause she followed me around all the time.
She was the kind of cat that would ask for your attention, but ignore you completely when you wanted hers, so a "typical" cat.
I think this is the first time in my entire life that I don't have any kind of pets, so I'm trying to get used to it, but it's hard because the house just seems empty.
Anyway, thanks for "listening" to my ramblings, and before I go, here is one of my favorite pictures of Pepi. Maybe it makes you smile too!
I will be back later with some cards! Thanks!

Long break...
Wow! That was a long internet break...
I'm sorry I haven't posted anything for so long, and I did miss it, but it seems that everytime I get ill my mojo just goes on holiday. I tried to make a couple of cards the other day and they were just a disaster.
The good news is that I'm taking the Kick Start Class from Online Card Classes, so I hope that brings my mojo back.
Another thing I wanted to let you know about is that there is a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero, so don't forget to check it out and play along!!
Now I'm gonna do my class homework to see if I get some inspiration and I can be back tomorrow, but this time with a card!
Thanks for stopping by!

I'm back!
Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I've been neglecting my blog, but I have been ill for the last couple of weeks and my cat had surgery again (another tumor), so no time for crafting or blogging. Boooooo!
Anyway, I should tell Sofie, that I will send your parcel this week, as soon as I can leave the house (I promise!)
I have a card for you today, it's another one of the rejects from the Papercrafts submission call:
I wanted to give the effect of a shadow by stamping with different inks and moving it slightly. I love that effect and it is so easy to achieve using the Stamping Press from Fiskars. Love it!
I embossed the butterfly onto a patterned paper from Studio Calico and the rest of the card is very simple, but if you have any questions, just let me know. I looove the softness of the pool colour on this card.
Now I have some other pictures for you. Last weekend was the last of the Carnival here, and although I was still ill, I decided I couldn't miss it (probably not the smartest idea). Check it out:
What do you think? This year our group of friends chose the theme of Heroes and Villains, and who can resist a good villain? So we went as Cruella and Two Face (in case it wasn't clear)
We had looots of fun and already thinking about next year's costume.
Ok, I hope you liked the card and our costumes, and thank you for stopping by!
