Dulce Navidad, ¡todo el año!... Sweet Christmas, all year long!

Holaaa!
¿Que día es hoy? Exacto... 25! Asi que toca tarjeta Navideña!!!! Después de un pequeño descanso en el mes de Agosto, donde no hicimos saltito de blogs, hoy venimos de nuevo con nuestras tarjetas navideñas. Además esta vez me he animado y he grabado un vídeo!!!
Os cuento que los productos que he elegido para esta tarjeta son casi todos bastante antiguos, pero tenia ganas de utilizarlos, y esto es lo que ha salido:

What day is it today? Exactly... the 25th! So that means a new Christmas card!!! After a small break during August, we are back with another blog hop of Christmas cards. And this time I made a video too!!!
The products that I decided to use in this card are nearly all quite old, but I wanted to play with them, so this is the end result:

¿A qué es super mono ese búho?;-) Y ese troquel de lazada de La Pareja Creativa me parece una genialidad, porque así no tengo que volverme loca para hacer la lazada perfecta jeje

Isn't that owl the cutest? ;-) And that bow die from La Pareja Creativa is amazing, so I don't have to go crazy trying to tie the perfect bow :-)

Hora de saltar... Time to hop

Siiiiii! Hora de saltar de nuevo!
Durante los ultimos meses no he comprado el kit de SSS porque no tenia tiempo para utilizarlo, ya que el pequeño Oli se lleva la mayor parte de mi tiempo. Peeeeero cuando vi el kit de este mes.... tenia que ser mio! Asi que aqui estoy, con un grupo de scraperas estupendas y este precioso kit :-) y esta es mi tarjeta:

Yayyyy! Time for a new blog hop! 
For the past few months, I didn't get the card kit from SSS because I just didn't have time to use them with baby Oli taking most of my time. But when I saw this month's card kit... it had to be mine! So here I am, joining a group of amazing girls with this beautiful kit :-) and here is my card:

Me moria de ganas de probar el sello grande de flores y las acuarelas, asi que embosé el sello y a colorear! Me han encantado los 4 puntos de acuarela que vienen en el kit! Son super cremosas y tienen mucho pigmento... muy sencillas de utilizar!

I couldn't wait to use the big flowery stamp and the watercolors from the kit, so I embossed the stamp and then had fun coloring. I love the 4 dots of watercolor from the kit! They are so creamy and pigmented...super easy to use!

Entonces solo me quedaba estampar el Celebrate que tambien vienen en el kit con tinta negra, y añadir la tira de papel a rayas (tambien del kit):

Then I just stamped the Celebrate from the kit with black ink, and I added the black and white paper from the kit too:

Ha estado genial eso de tener de nuevo el kit y poder participar en estos saltitos con el resto de las chicas. Asi que ahora, pasaros por sus blogs para ver lo que han hecho, que seguro os va a encantar y os hará querer este kit tan chulo:

Hoy toca reto... Time for a challenge

Hace unas semanas comenzaba la nueva temporada de retos de 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, y hoy toca reto nuevo. Es un reto algo dificil de explicar... una de las locuras de Andrea que necesito ronda de preguntas y respuestas, jeje... pero estamos acostumbradas ;-) Aqui va mi tarjeta:

A couple of weeks ago, the new challenges started again at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, and today it's time for another challenge. This one is a bit difficult to explain... another crazy idea from Andrea that needed a round of Q&A... but we are used to it ;-) Here is my card:

El reto consiste en una tarjeta MONOCROMATICA, que ademas tenga obligatoriamente algo BLANCO, NEGRO Y KRAFT, y también tiene que haber un DEGRADADO.

La verdad es que no es tan complicado como suena y seguro que lo vais a disfrutar un monton.

Yo empecé con una cartulina acuarelable y la tinta distress Peacock Feathers. Pegué la cartulina con cinta washi  (creando ese marco blanco) a una tabla para que no se curvara con el agua. Y fuí pintando, con un pincel grande, la tinta y mucha agua, el gradiente que veis.

The challenge is to make a MONOCHROMATIC card, that must have WHITE, BLACK AND KRAFT too, and there has to be a GRADIENT as well.

To tell you the truth is not as complicated as it sounds and I'm sure you'll have a great time participating.

I started with a watercolor cardstock and Peacock Feathers distress ink. I glued it down with washi tape (creating the white frame) so it wouldn't warp with the water. And I started to paint the background with a big brush, water and the ink.

Mi idea no era esta, pero al ver el fondo terminado, me parecia un mar tranquilo, y decidí utilizarlo como tal.

Troquelé el barquito de Kraft y cartulina blanca, varias capas, para darle más dimensión.

Y también troquelé un par de circulos de vellum (papel vegetal) dandole un borde festón para crear "olas".

I had another idea when I started this card, but when I saw that background finished, I thought it looked like a calm sea, and decided to use it as such.

I die cut the boat from Kraft and white cardstock, a few layers, to give it dimension.

And I also die cut the vellum circles, giving them a scalloped edge to mimic "waves".

Para terminar estampé el mensaje y con él tapé los adhesivos dimensionales que utilicé para pegar el vellum.

Y ya está! Sencillita, pero me encanta el resultado final :-)

To finish the card I stamped the message and I used it to cover the dimensional adhesive I used for the vellum.

And that's all! Simple, but I love the final result :-)

Las flores han vuelto... The flowers are back

El Viernes pasado fue un dia muy especial, porque por fin volvian los retos de Andrea en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. Con Andrea nunca sabes lo que va a pasar y te llena la vida de sorpresas. Cuando menos te lo esperas te envia un email con una de sus locuras, y siempre consigue meterte en el jaleo y que encima lo disfrutes.
Este año no tenia muy claro si podria continuar en el DT... con Oliver aun tan pequeño, mi padre que aun sigue con sus problemas de salud y la sensacion de que no llego a nada, me lo pensé un par de dias. Pero como os he dicho Andrea es especial y me encanta formar parte de esta comunidad de flores que es tan magica, por lo que le dije que pa'lante... que ya me las apañaria.
Empezar, no empecé muy bien, ya que llego una semana tarde al primer reto, pero es que no me daban las horas del dia. Pero como mas vale tarde que nunca, aqui va mi colaboracion para este reto:

Last Friday was a very special day, because the new season of challenges at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas started. Andrea is full of surprises and you never know what she's gonna do. When you least expect it, you get an email from her with a crazy plan, and somehow she always gets you to participate and have a great time doing it.
This year I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to continue in this DT... with Oliver being so young, mi dad still having health issues and not having time for anything, I had to think about it for a couple of days. But like I said, Andrea is pretty special, and I love being a part of this amazing community, so I said a big yes, and I would have to figure out how to do it all.
The beginning was not very good, as I didn't make it to the challenge on time, but better late than never, here is my collaboration for this challenge:

El tema de este reto es crear un duo de tarjetas de San Valentin! Si, si,... que a Andrea no le valia solo con una jeje. Además tenian que estar relacionadas de alguna manera. Yo me decidí por crear 2 tarjetas con la misma colección de papeles y acetato, pero dandole a una un toque más femenino y a la otra un toque más masculino.

The them of this challenge is to make two Valentine's Day cards! Yes, I know... Andrea didn't think one was enough LOL! Also they had to coordinate somehow. I decided to make both cards with the same paper collection and acetate, but make one more femenine, and the other one more masculine.

Para la femenina, he utilizado unos papeles más rosas y floreados, con la tarjeta de acetato y unos troqueles de corazones. Me gusta que parece que estan flotando :-)

For the femenine card, I used papers more pinkish or with flowers, the acetate card and perfect nesting heart dies. I love how it looks like they are floating :-)

El papel de flores esta pegado por el interior de la tarjeta, para asi tapar el pegamento de los corazones del frente. Y por supuesto, algo de dimension tenia que haber!
La tarjeta masculina la hice en cuadrado utilizando un papel de madera de la misma coleccion y una hoja de libro:

The paper with the flowers is glued on the inside of the card to cover the glue from the hearts on the front. And obviously, I had to add some dimension!
The masculine card is square and I used a wood paper from the same pad, and a book page:

El troquel de corazon no es tan perfecto, y le da ese toque más masculino a la tarjeta. Para el mensaje he utilizado la pegatina de "XOXO" y la de papel tipo "Dymo" de la misma coleccion.

The heart die is not as "perfect", so it gives the card a more masculine look. For the sentiment, I used the "XOXO" sticker and the other one that looks like a "Dymo" label from the same collection.

Y bueno, espero que os hayan gustado y os animeis a acompañarnos en esta nueva temporada de flores. Además pasaros por el blog para ver lo que han hecho mis compis, porque os va a encantar!!!!
