I guess this is the end of my week of gradient cards, so I hope you liked them and I inspired you to try this great technique. Today's card is very simple, as I wanted to have the gradient as the focal point:

Pues parece que ya hemos llegado al final de la semana de tarjetas con degradado, asi que espero que os haya gustado e inspirado a probar esta tecnica tan chula. La tarjeta de hoy es muy sencillita, ya que queria que el degradado fuera el punto focal de la tarjeta:
To create this gradient I used a stencil, embossing paste and Peacock Feathers distress ink.
I just added some ink onto my mat in different amounts, and mixed it with embossing paste to create the gradient. Then very carefully I applied them over the stencil.
The sentiment is from May's card kit from Simon Says Stamp, and I framed it with the set "Bordes Decorativos" from La Pareja Creativa.
Para crear este gradiente he utilizado un stencil, pasta de embossing blanca y tinta distress Peacock Feathers.
He añadido diferentes cantidades de la tinta en mi superficie de trabajo, que he mezclado con la pasta de embossing. Despues, con cuidado, fuí añadiendo la pasta sobre el stencil.
El mensaje es del kit tarjetero de Mayo de Simon Says Stamp, y lo enmarqué con el set "Bordes Decorativos" de La Pareja Creativa.
I love the dimension! And I just can't tell you how much I love the look of a gradient, but I guess you can imagine that after all the cards I shared this week ;-)

Today it's the start of a new challenge at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, and this time it's Rocio's turn. If you know Rocio, you should know that she's incredibly talented, and she couldn't have chosen a better challenge, as it's exactly her style. She's the queen of sewing, and I just wish I could do the amazing things she does with a sewing machine. If you haven't been to her blog yet, what are you waiting for? Ya hemos terminado con "El Mejor Reto del Mundo" por este año, y os habeis salido! Aun estamos haciendo el recuento final, que tardará algunos dias, pero parece que lo hemos conseguido! Y es que sois de lo mejorcito!!!
Hoy comienza un nuevo reto en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, y esta vez es el turno de Rocio. Si ya conoceis a Rocio, sabreis que tiene talento para dar y regalar, y no podia haber elegido un reto mejor, ya que le viene como anillo al dedo. Es la reina del cosido! Ya me gustaria a mi poder hacer alguna de las maravillas que se le ocurren con una maquina de coser! Si aún no la conoceis, a que esperais? Pasaros por su blog, porque ademas es un encanto de mujer!
Ahora, aqui va el reto: Sobras de papel y Coser!
I had so much fun making this card! I just picked up tons of paper strips I had left from the last few cards around my desk, and I cut banners out of all of them. Then I placed them over a piece of white cardstock and started sewing! To finish it, I added the die cut sentiment, and I glued the panel into a blue card.
¡Me lo pasé tan bien haciendo esta tarjeta! Simplemente fuí cogiendo papeles que me habian sobrado de las ultimas tarjetas, y corté un monton de banderines. Despues los coloqué sobre una cartulina blanca y empecé a coser!
Para terminarla, añadí el troquel de enhorabuena, y pegué la cartulina sobre una tarjeta azul.

Today I have a bit of homework for you. I've been taking the latest Online Card Class, Summer Card Camp 2. But I've been really busy and I didn't have time to actually play along. That changed today and here is my card:

Hoy traigo mis deberes. Estoy apuntada a la ultima clase de Online Card Classes, llamada Summer Card Camp 2. Pero he estado bastante ocupada y no he podido participar todavia. Eso ha cambiado hoy y aqui esta mi tarjeta:
I used this week's color combo, and I was inspired by the 3rd sketch today (you'll hopefully recognize it if you are taking the class) but I turned it upside down.
I used a technique that Jennifer McGuire has been using a lot lately, first I stamped my flowers with white pigment ink, and on top of this, I stamped again using dye or pigment ink. Love the look you get on the flowers, specially over kraft cardstock.

He utilizado la combinacion de colores de esta semana y me he inspirado en el tercer sketch de hoy (espero que si estas tomando la clase, lo reconozcas) pero lo he puesto boca abajo.
He utilizado una tecnica que Jennifer McGuire esta utilizando mucho ultimamente, primero estampe las flores con tinta de pigmento blanca, y encima de esta, la estampo otra vez, utilizando tinta dye o pigmento. Me encanta el efecto que les da a las flores, especialmente sobre cartulina kraft.

Hiya! I can't believe the weekend is here already, and here we have a long one as well, because it is Carnival!!!! I looove it!
I just wanted to share a card I made for the last Papercrafts submission call, and obviously, it is a reject :-(
I wanted to try to make CAS cards for the submission call, cause I find them harder, and I guess I love a challenge, don't know.
Nothing too complicated on this card, so I'll just leave it there.
