Watercolor pencils... Lapices acuarelables

Hi there!
Yesterday I started the week trying some of the techniques from Day 3 of class at Online Card Classes. And the card I have for you today, I colored it using watercolor pencils:

¡Holaaaa!
I started by stamping the images using Versafine black ink and as it's a pigment ink, I let it dry for a few minutes.
Then I applied some color with the pencil, and using a brush and water, I spread the color around. I tried some of the techniques from class, like taking color from the tip of the pencil. But I have to be more patient, and wait for it to dry before I add more color on top of it.

While the panel dried, I decorated the front of a white card base using some party stamps from two set from Simon Says Stamp in different inks. I love the random look of it!
And with this card I'll be participating in the current Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp, that asks you to not use patterned paper:

I can play along with the Work it Wednesday challenge from Simon Says Stamp too, that asks you to use a stamp:

Tomorrow is wrap up day of class, and I have a couple of backgrounds that I created using my gelatos, but I'll have to share them next week, I think, because tomorrow is release day at La Pareja Creativa. I can't wait for you all to see the new collection!
Thanks for stopping by today! xx

Masking flowers

Hello! Today I'm sharing with you a card with lots of masking.
I just stamped the Bold Line Flower with different colors of distress inks while masking lots of times. Once they were all stamped, I colored them lightly with colored pencils and then distress the entire area with Antique linen. I stamped the sentiment with Dusty Concord ink, added some Diamond Stickles and some twine, and mounted the panel on dimensionals.

Ok, that's it for today. Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!

True Friend Flowers Digikit

Hiya!

Today I have a card using the True Friend Flowers digikit from Hero Arts.

I used the print and cut option on my silhouette to make this card. When I had the flowers printed, I engraved the clouds background and colored it with chalk. I colored the flowers using coloring pencils and I used distress inks for the sun.

I created the sentiment on my computer, and I added some Liquid Pearls on the center of the flowers.

Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!

Kraft, pencils and spirits...

Hello!!
Today's card was so much fun to make. I love this technique, but I rarely use it, so it was a nice change.

I took a piece of kraft cardstock and I stamped the Old Writing from Hero Arts with white StazeOn ink. Then I stamped the Large Cling Flower from HA too with Versamark and embossed it with silver pearl powder.
I used color pencils on the flower and blend them with methylated spirits. I stamped the sentiment with Memento black ink and added some pearls. I mounted the panel on grey cardstock and I scored a frame on the card base.

I love this technique because it gives the coloring so much depth, I definitely have to make more of this.

Hope you liked it!
