It's the last week of the Dear Santa event at A Blog Named Hero, and because we always run out of time to make things before Christmas, we are showing you lots of quick projects, so that doesn't happen to you.

I decided to make a quick card, that can be made in bulk, in case you see you are running out of time.
Decidí hacer una tarjeta rapida, que pudiera ser facil hacer muchas, por si ves que no te va a llegar el tiempo.
I used a couple of border stamps from Neat & Tangled and Lawn Fawn. The chipboard heart is from Amy Tangerine, and I use Walnut Stain Distress Stain to make it darker after I white embossed the "love" from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the "sending you" from Hero Arts to complete the sentiment. This card is perfect to replicate, and you can use a die cut heart instead of a chipboard piece, if you would be making lots.

Utilice un par de sellos de borde de "Neat & Tangled" y de "Lawn Fawn". El corazon de chipboard es de Amy Tangerine, y lo coloreé utilizando la distress stain en Walnut Stain, despues de embosar en blanco el "love" de "Lawn Fawn". Estampé el "sending you" de un sello de "Hero Arts" para completar el sentimiento.
Esta diseño es perfecto para cuando necesitas muchas tarjetas, ya que en lugar del corazon de chipboard, puedes utilizar un corazon troquelado.

It's week 3 of the Dear Santa event at A Blog Named Hero, and this week we are making some Home Decor projects!
Estamos ya en la tercera semana del evento "Dear Santa" de A Blog Named Hero, y esta vez, traemos un monton de proyectos de decoracion!
I decided to decorate some frames to bring some Christmas decor to every room. Here they are:
Decidí decorar unos marcos para llevar algo de la decoración navideña a cada habitación. Aquí están:

I wanted to try this for a while. I used the grid border die from Simon Says Stamp to cut a big grid that I can use as a guide. Then I cut different colors with the same grid die to glue down following a cross-stitch pattern. It took a while, but because the image is quite big. You should give it a go!
Llevaba queriendo intentar esto un tiempo. Utilicé el troquel de borde "grid" de Simon Says Stamp para crear una plantilla de rejilla grande, que podria usar como guia. Despues troquele cuadraditos en los colores que necesitaba, y los fuí pegando uno a uno, siguiendo un patrón de punto de cruz. Me llevo bastante tiempo, porque es grande, pero tienes que probarlo!
For this one I made an ornament using the Party Dots set from Neat and Tangled. I first stamped the back of the stamp with Butter Bar ink, and then embossed the front of it with glitter gold embossing powder. Added the gorgeous bow from Avery Elle, and stamped the sentiment at the bottom.
Love the sparkle!
Para esté, cree un adorno utilizando el set Party Dots de Neat and Tangled. Primero estampé la parte de atras del sello con tinta Butter Bar, y despues estampe la parte de delante con versamark y utilice polvos de embossing dorados con purpurina. Añadí el precioso lazo de Avery Elle, y el sentimiento en la parte de abajo. Me encanta como brilla!
I used some paper and thickers from the Cut & Paste collection from Amy Tangerine. The thickers were bright green, so I just used a marker to color them. Added lots of sequins to make it "bright" ;-)

Today is the first day of Gifts week at A Blog Named Hero, so get ready for a lot of presents that you can make yourself.

Hoy es el primer dia de la semana de los Regalos en A Blog Named Hero, asi que preparate para ver un monton de regalos que puedes hacer tu misma.
I decided to try something I've been wanting to make for a while. I use some stamps on clay to make pendant and earrings:
Decidi probar algo que llevaba tiempo queriendo intentar. Utilice sellos para estampar en arcilla y hacer asi unos colgantes y unos pendientes:
I made some packaging to go along with the pendant or earrings, using the same stamp.
The tecnique is very simple. You take the clay and you condition it by rolling it around in your hands. Then you flatten it, and using a stamp covered in versamark you stamp it. That way you avoid the clay sticking to your stamp. Then you cut it using a cookie cutter and you pierce a hole through the clay.
I used air drying clay, so I just left it for 24 hours, but if you use polymer clay, like Fimo, you have to dry it in the oven.
Once they were dry, I used some silver paint to color different parts of each design, and covered them with a coat of glossy accents.

Tambien he hecho unas cajitas para acompañar a los regalos, utilizando el mismo sello.
La tecnica que he utilizado es muy sencilla. Empiezas preparando la arcilla, trabajandola con las manos. Despues la estiras con un rodillo y utilizando un sello cubierto de versamark, lo estampas. De esta manera, evitas que la arcilla se te quede pegada al sello.
Entonces la cortas utilizando un cortapastas, y haces un agujero en la arcilla.
Yo he utilizado arcilla de secado al aire, asi que la deje durante 24 horas, pero si utilizas otra arcilla, del tipo de Fimo, tendras que secarla en el horno.
Una vez seca, utilice pintura plateada para colorear diferentes partes en cada diseño, y los cubrí con una capa de glossy accents.

For this one I used purple clay, so I added some silver paint to the stamped stars.
Para este colgante, he utilizado arcilla morada, asi que coloreé las estrellas con la pintura plateada.
For this one I used red clay and used the silver dubber over the top, carefully so not paint got inside the stamped image.
Con este colgante utilice arcilla roja y pase la esponja del aplicador de la pintura plateada por encima, con mucho cuidado, para que no se metiera en las ranuras de la imagen estampada.
And finally I made the earrings out of grey clay, and once it was dry, I painted them using a sponge to apply aqua and silver paint. I let it dry, and using black versafine, I inked the raised lines and embossed them with clear powder. Finished it with a coat of glossy accents.
Y finalmente, para los pendientes, utilice arcilla gris, y una vez se secó, utilice una esponja para aplicar pintura turquesa y plateada. Despues lo dejé secar, y aplicando tinta negra versafine, coloree las rayas creadas con el sello y añadi polvos de embossing transparentes. Los terminé con una capa de glossy accents.
