Lots of new things!!

Hi everyone!!
Ready for the weekend?? I have a bit of a crazy weekend coming up, so I don't think I will get a lot of time for crafting, but I still have a couple of cards to share with you.
First of all, I should tell you that last month it was my birthday, and I got lots of new crafty things, that I am using on the new cards. You will see them all at some point ( I hope!).

On today's card, I used tons of stuff.

As you can see, I used another one of the robots, from the Robot trio set from Hero Arts. In the background I stamped with Weathered wood distress ink the Envelope Pattern (loooooove it), and as you can see I masked off the edges of the card. I scored some lines on the card using my brand new Martha Stewart scoring board (another.... loooove it). The sentiment is from Hero Arts, from the set Find Joy, but I cut it in half, so I could use it in 2 lines instead of just one. I rounded the corners of the front panels using the corner chomper (another present from my lovely hubby). Am I spoiled or what?? haha.

I coloured the robot using my promarkers, and then cut it and put it on the card on dimensionals. Added some glossy accents and some faux stitching in white and it was done!

Hope you liked it, have an awesome weekend and I will be here on Monday with another card!!!

Yellow and Brown

Hiya!
I have another card to share with you today.

Although this card seems simple, it took me a long time because of the flower. I painted it with promarkers, and it took me a couple of tries to get it right. Soooo frustrating!!! Anyway, I got to use my new stamp from Hero Arts, the Large Fabric Design, and I looooove it!!!!

Hope you liked it!!!!!

Im back!!!

Hi everyone!!
If there is anyone still out there!! Im sorry it took me soooo long to get back to blogging, but life just got in the way... I guess I will have to make it up to you with more cards.

Anyway, last week it was my hubby's birthday and I made him this card:
It is a zigzag card, inspired by Jennifer McGuire. She showed how to make this type of cards on the online class summer card camp. I signed up for the class, but didnt have time to participate. It was a shame! But now I have lots of color combos and sketches to try!!!

The stamps I used on this card are from Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn. The robot was stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Promarkers. I got my first small set of promarkers for my birthday, so I am just learning, but they are a lot of fun! The white pannels were cut using my silhouette.

Ok, I hope you liked it and see you tomorrow with another card!!
