Marcapáginas... Bookmarks

Hola de nuevo!
El mes pasado, para el reto de Instagram de La Pareja Creativa, preparé estos marcapáginas:

Quería darle una forma diferente a estos marcas, y este es el resultado:

I wanted to give them a different kind of shape, and this is the end result:

Son unos marcas sencillos, que quedan genial en el libro, asi que animaros a probarlo:

They are simple bookmarks, but they look super cute in a book, so give it a try:

El MRDM... The best challenge in the world ;-)

I've been wanting to write this post for weeks, but as you should know by now, things have been very slow around here. In my family, for the last couple of months we're spending more time at the hospital than at home, and although it's not for anything too serious, it still messes up everything else. And at the end, it's the blog that is paying the price. But I'll get to it, as this is going so late ;-)

At this point, (if you follow any Spanish blogs), you would have heard about the MRDM (best challenge in the world) that Andrea, from 3flowers-retos de tarjetas puts together every year. But you can read everything about it HERE: 

Llevo semanas con esta entrada pendiente, pero como sabeis a estas alturas, las cosas por aqui han estado bastante paradas. En mi familia llevamos un par de meses que pasamos casi más tiempo en el hospital que en casa, y aunque no todo son cosas graves, al final te altera todo y no hay manera de llevar una rutina normal. Y al final el que paga el pato es mi pobre blog que lo tengo super abandonado. Pero bueno, al lio, que si no me enrollo y esto no sale nunca ;-)

A estas alturas ya la mayoria sabreis que es el MRDM (o el Mejor Reto del Mundo) que organiza la increible Andrea, de 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. Supongo que habreis visto tarjetas y puntos de libros por todas partes para este reto, pero si no es asi, pasaros por AQUI, que ella os lo explica todo perfectamente:

This year is in memoriam of Rosa Bueno, Andrea's really good friend that left us a few months ago. In THIS post, Andrea tells you the story, but I warn you now that you'll probably cry, as she's written it beautifully.
For those of you that still have no clue what I'm talking about, this challenge is about making cards and bookmarks for the Hospital Sant Joan de Deu, to celebrate National Book Day. The bookmarks are for the children that are staying at the hospital, and the cards will be sold in the hospital shop to raise money. Every year the scrap community here has exceded expectations, and it looks like this year it was no different.
And here is my colaboration... the few things I could make between hospital days:

Ademas este año, es en memoria de Rosa Bueno, una muy buena amiga de Andrea que nos dejo hace unos meses. En ESTA entrada, Andrea os cuenta mejor su historia y os aviso que si no la habeis leido aun, os sacará una lagrimilla, porque Andrea ha puesto todo su corazon en esa entrada... y en esta edición del MRDM.
Para las que aún así no teneis ni idea de que estoy hablando, este reto consiste en crear marcapáginas y tarjetas que se entregaran en el Hospital Sant Joan de Deu para celebrar el dia del libro. Los marcapaginas seran para los niños que estan alli ingresados ese dia, y las tarjetas se venderan en la tienda del hospital para recaudar dinero. Asi que no me extraña que esta comunidad scrapera se vuelque para apoyar una causa de este tipo.
Y bueno, aqui esta mi colaboracion... vamos, lo poquito que pude hacer entre dias de hospital:

A couple of cards and a bookmark, all very simple, but I had a great time making them. I still wanted to participate more with the challenge even if I didn't have enough time to make anything new, but I searched through my card stash and this is what I sent:

Unas tarjetas y un marca sencillitos, pero con los que me lo pase pipa, la verdad. Pero queria mandar más tarjetas, ya que total, tengo una montaña esperando que las meta en sobres y se las envie a alguien, asi que esto fue lo que envie:

So another 17 cards and 1 bookmark that are on the way and I hope they help bring a smile to somebody that is not having the best time right now.
And don't worry if you missed it, because I'm sure next year there would be another MRDM as amazing as this one ;-)

Asi que 17 tarjetas y un marcapaginas que se suman a este reto y que espero le saquen una sonrisa a alguien que no esté pasando su mejor momento.
Y no os preocupeis, que si no habeis llegado a tiempo, seguro que el año que viene vuelve a haber un MRDM tan espectacular como este ;-)

El Mejor Reto Del Mundo

You might remember this from last year, today we start "The Best Challenge In The World" at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas.
I'm so excited! Last year it was a lot of fun, and we collected SO many cards and bookmarks. But let me explain it a little bit for those of you that have no clue what I'm talking about.
The whole point of this challenge is to collect Bookmarks for the kids that are having treatment at the Sant Joan hospital, and cards to sell in their gift shop, to raise money for the same reason. This year we are collaborating with the "Fundacion contra la leucemia Josep Carreras" too. But you have all this info much better explained (although in Spanish) at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, so if you have any questions about it all, leave it in the comments and I'll try to help. Now let's start with the cards:

¡Hola a todos!
Puede que recordeis esto del año pasado, y es que hoy comienza "El Mejor Reto Del Mundo" en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas.
¡Estoy tan contenta! El año pasado fue super divertido, y conseguimos TANTAS tarjetas y puntos de libro... ¡una pasada! Pero dejadme que os explique un poco para los que no tengais ni idea de que estoy hablando.
El objetivo de este reto es recoger Marcapaginas para los niños que estan ingresados en el hospital Sant Joan, y Tarjetas, que se venderan en la tienda del hospital para recoger dinero. Este año tambien estamos colaborando con la "Fundacion contra la leucemia Josep Carreras". Pero todo esto lo tienes muchiiiiisimo mejor explicado en la entrada de 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, asi que pasaros por alli para tener todos los detalles. Ahora paso a enseñaros mis tarjetas:

If you are taking the latest Online Card Class "Stretch your dies", you would know that this is my homework for Day 2. The idea was in my head after watching the video, so I decided to use it for the challenge ;-)

Si estas participando en la ultima Online Card Class "Stretch your dies", este diseño de tarjeta te sonara, ya que son mis deberes para el dia 2. La idea estaba en mi cabeza despues de ver el video, asi que decidí utilizarla para el reto ;-)

Just a lot of die cutting in this one, and I love the dimension you get with this technique. I'll have to try it with more dies for sure. Now card number two:

Mucho troquelar en esta tarjeta, y me encanta la dimension que se consigue con esta tecnica. Tengo que probarla con mas troqueles seguro. Ahora la segunda tarjeta:

As the cards should be for different ages and recipients, I thought this could work for teenagers, maybe :-)
I die cut the lips and the mini polaroid frame with my Silhouette. And then it was a case of putting it all together in the card.

Como las tarjetas tienen que ser para todos los publicos y edades, pensé que esta podia funcionar para adolescentes, a lo mejor ;-)
Corté los labios y el mini marco polaroid con la Silhouette, y luego ya solo quedaba colocarlo todo en la tarjeta.

I used the bookmark die from La Pareja Creativa with a gorgeous paper from Avery Elle. The stamps are from LPC too.

He utilizado el troquel de marcapáginas de la Pareja Creativa con un papel precioso de Avery Elle. Los sellos tambien son de LPC.
