Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't blogged for a while, but it is the first week back at work, and everything is a bit crazy around here. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon! I wanted to share this card I made for the current Hero Arts January contest:
I have seen all the "xoxo" cards around blogland, and I love them, but I don't have the stamp set, so I had to use what I had! I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock with my silhouette, to use for the front of the card. And I cut the heart. Stamped the Alphabet Pattern with Weathered wood distress ink. I stamped it again on another piece of Neenah cardstock using Festive Berries distress ink, to cut the "X" and the "O", that I would glue and pop up on the front of the card. I white embossed "love" on the front of a card base I made with some Grenadine Layering paper, and I glued everything together.
Added some dash lines with a white gel pen and it was finished.
As I said before, I am entering this card into this month's contest over at the Hero Arts blog, so go check it out!
Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!
