El Mejor Reto Del Mundo

Hi everyone!
You might remember this from last year, today we start "The Best Challenge In The World" at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas.
I'm so excited! Last year it was a lot of fun, and we collected SO many cards and bookmarks. But let me explain it a little bit for those of you that have no clue what I'm talking about.
The whole point of this challenge is to collect Bookmarks for the kids that are having treatment at the Sant Joan hospital, and cards to sell in their gift shop, to raise money for the same reason. This year we are collaborating with the "Fundacion contra la leucemia Josep Carreras" too. But you have all this info much better explained (although in Spanish) at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, so if you have any questions about it all, leave it in the comments and I'll try to help. Now let's start with the cards:

¡Hola a todos!
Puede que recordeis esto del año pasado, y es que hoy comienza "El Mejor Reto Del Mundo" en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas.
¡Estoy tan contenta! El año pasado fue super divertido, y conseguimos TANTAS tarjetas y puntos de libro... ¡una pasada! Pero dejadme que os explique un poco para los que no tengais ni idea de que estoy hablando.
El objetivo de este reto es recoger Marcapaginas para los niños que estan ingresados en el hospital Sant Joan, y Tarjetas, que se venderan en la tienda del hospital para recoger dinero. Este año tambien estamos colaborando con la "Fundacion contra la leucemia Josep Carreras". Pero todo esto lo tienes muchiiiiisimo mejor explicado en la entrada de 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, asi que pasaros por alli para tener todos los detalles. Ahora paso a enseñaros mis tarjetas:

If you are taking the latest Online Card Class "Stretch your dies", you would know that this is my homework for Day 2. The idea was in my head after watching the video, so I decided to use it for the challenge ;-)

Si estas participando en la ultima Online Card Class "Stretch your dies", este diseño de tarjeta te sonara, ya que son mis deberes para el dia 2. La idea estaba en mi cabeza despues de ver el video, asi que decidí utilizarla para el reto ;-)

Just a lot of die cutting in this one, and I love the dimension you get with this technique. I'll have to try it with more dies for sure. Now card number two:

Mucho troquelar en esta tarjeta, y me encanta la dimension que se consigue con esta tecnica. Tengo que probarla con mas troqueles seguro. Ahora la segunda tarjeta:

As the cards should be for different ages and recipients, I thought this could work for teenagers, maybe :-)
I die cut the lips and the mini polaroid frame with my Silhouette. And then it was a case of putting it all together in the card.

Como las tarjetas tienen que ser para todos los publicos y edades, pensé que esta podia funcionar para adolescentes, a lo mejor ;-)
Corté los labios y el mini marco polaroid con la Silhouette, y luego ya solo quedaba colocarlo todo en la tarjeta.

I used the bookmark die from La Pareja Creativa with a gorgeous paper from Avery Elle. The stamps are from LPC too.

My turn at LPC... Mi turno en LPC

Hi everyone!
Today I'm over at La Pareja Creativa with a card and a box. As you might already know, tomorrow we celebrate Father's Day here, so I wanted to make something for that. I hope you have time to stop by and check it out! And if you are one of the lucky ones with a long weekend... Enjoy it!

Hola a todos!
Hoy me he pasado por La Pareja Creativa con una tarjeta y una cajita. Como ya sabreis, mañana celebramos el Dia del Padre por estos lares, asi que queria hacer algo para eso. Espero que tengais un ratito para pasaros a echarle un vistazo! Y si sois de los suertudos que teneis puente... ¡A disfrutarlo!

Susana's challenge... El reto de Susana

Today we're starting a new challenge at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, and this time it's Susana's choice. Susana is an amazing cardmaker, and she leaves my jaw on the floor with every single one of her cards. So there was a lot of pressure going into her challenge ;-)

Hoy comenzamos nuevo reto en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, y esta vez le tocaba elegir a Susana. Susana es una tarjetera de las que quita el hipo, y siempre me deja con la boca abierta con cada una de sus tarjetas. Asi que habia mucha presion con este reto ;-)

 The theme she chose for the challenge is "Chevron". I wasn't totally convinced with this card, and I actually started a new one, but that one turned out even worse, so I settled for this one.
I made a "jeans" pocket using patterned paper from My Mind's Eye. For the hearts I used the stamp set from the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp and I embossed them with red powder. Then I added lots of small hearts dies and I covered them with Glossy Accents. For the sentiment I used a rub-on from the same card kit.
And for the chevron... well, the background paper!  :-)

El tema que ha elegido para su reto es "Chevron". Que conste que no me convence mucho la tarjeta, y hasta intenté hacer otra, pero esa salió todavia peor, asi que me quedé con esta.
Para empezar, utilizando un bloque de papel de My Mind's Eye que tenia uno en plan tela vaquera, hice un bolsillo, cortandolo a mano, y poniendole un borde cosido con otro de los papeles. Para los corazones, he utilizado un sello del set que viene en el kit tarjetero de Simon Says Stamp de Febrero y los embosé con polvos rojos. Despues añadí un monton de corazones troquelados que cubrí con Glossy Accents. Para el mensaje he utilizado uno de los rub ons del kit.
Y para el chevronn que pedia el reto... pues, el papel del fondo! ;-)

Rainbows at LPC... Arco Iris en La Pareja Creativa

Today it's my turn over at La Pareja Creativa, and I'm sharing a couple of colorful cards with you all. I started creating some rainbow backgrounds using watercolors, and I just had to use them on a card, so if you have time, I would love if you would stop by!

Hoy era mi turno en La Pareja Creativa, y he compartido unas tarjetas con mucho colorido. Estaba creando unos fondos de arco iris con acuarelas, y tenia que utilizarlos en unas tarjetas, asi que si tienes un ratito, me encantaria que te pasaras por alli!

March challenge at LPC... Reto de Marzo en LPC

It's March already, how did that happen? I can't believe it! This year is just flying by and with a new month, we get a new challenge at La Pareja Creativa. Let me show you my card:

¡Que ya estamos en Marzo! Como ha pasado esto? Es que ni me lo creo! Este año esta volando, y claro, con nuevo mes, tambien llega nuevo reto a La Pareja Creativa. Aqui os dejo mi tarjeta:

The theme of this challenge is to make your own patterned paper, and that's what I did for all the layers. I started stamping the front of a card with the dots stamp in our product of the month "Fondos para ella", that you can get with a discount this month.

El tema de este reto es crear tu propio papel decorado, y eso es lo que hice con todas las capas de la tarjeta. Empecé estampando el frente de una tarjeta con el sello de puntos del set "Fondos para ella", que es el Producto del mes y puedes comprar con descuento durante Marzo.

Then I die cut a tag with the "Pequeños regalos" die set and I stamped it with another stamp from "Fondos para ella", and I added it to the card hanging off, and cutting the excess. Then I added a blue banner stamped with some of the stars from a few LPC sets, and a stripe of black cardstock.

For the sentiment I used one of our new dies "Enhorabuena" and I gave it a bit of a shadow adding a black die cut underneath.

And to finish the card I glued down a few pink stars randomly!

Troquelé una etiqueta con el set "Pequeños Regalos" y lo estampé con otro de los sellos del set "Fondos para ella". Lo pegué a la tarjeta dejando una parte fuera que recorté. Después añadí un banderín azul en el que habia estampado varias estrellas de diferentes sets de LPC, y le pegué una tira de cartulina negra.
Para el mensaje me decidí por el nuevo troquel de "Enhorabuena" y le dí un poco de dimensión añadiendo un troquelado negro por debajo.
Y para terminar la tarjeta, una estrellas rosas aqui y allá!
