Red flowers for "A blog named Hero"

If you are here for the Lawnscaping Blog Hop, please click here!

Hi everyone!
Did you all have a good Easter? For us, there is still another week of holidays, yay!
Today I have a card I made for the first challenge at A blog named Hero:
I really love that stamp from Hero Arts! It's just perfect!!!! I started by stamping it on Neenah white cardstock using black Memento ink. I colored the flowers and the stems using my promarkers. I still have a looooot to learn about shading!!! I stamped the sentiment on to a banner, and to make it pop I adhere it to a bigger banner that I colored using one of the red promarkers. For the card base, I used white cardstock, but I used the grey promarker to color the edges. To finish the card, I just adhered everything together using foam dimensionals.
So, go make something for "A blog named Hero"
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked it!

  3. You're not the first to use this stamp (I'm guessing it is a favorite of many) but this one certainly does pop off the page for me. I love the bold red flowers with the subtle background. Lovely card!
