Hello everyone!
Tonight is a very special night in Spain. Our own version of Santa Klaus is coming! The 6th of January is probably one of my favorite days of the year, not just for the presents, but there is this cake that I just eat on that day, and I loooove it! So tomorrow is gonna be a nice day, I'll try to share some pics!
Anyway, I have a card for you today:
I made it for my cousin's birthday last month, but I didn't get to post it, here it is:
I made this pocket card using the technique video from Shari Carroll, over at Hero Arts. Loved how it turned out, so original!
Anyway, I started with one of the papers from the Pool pack from Hero Arts, and I cut it using the dimensions from the video. Then I stamped the front using the Friend definition background and Soft Pool ink. On a piece of white cardstock and using Black Memento ink and my Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the Three Robots. Then I colored them using promarkers and adhered them to the front of the card. I cut a border out of white cardstock using my Silhouette, and I colored it using Mustard Seed distress ink. After I glued it to the front of the card, I cover the place where both cardstocks met with Twine.
Then I stamped the sentiment using Black Memento ink. Here is another picture where you can see the pocket:
As I used lots of new things on this card, like my Pool papers, soft Pool ink and Friend Definition Stamp, I am entering it into this week's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.
The Challenge is "New", so I think it works. Go participate on their challenge, you could win a gift voucher for their shop!!
Ok, time to go to bed, so tomorrow I can open my presents very early! lol!
Hope you liked it, and thanks for stopping by!
What a special day for you tomorrow :) Have fun and enjoy your cake! What a lovely card - saw it on Flickr and popped over here to check out your blog!
