3Flowers is back!!!... 3Flowers ha vuelto!!!

Yayyyy! 3flowers-retos de tarjetas is back!!! And the first challenge starts today!!! I missed Andrea, her challenges and specially her crazy ideas, so today is a happy day and we're gonna have so much fun ;-) Here is what I made:

¡Siiiiii! 3flowers-retos de tarjetas ha vuelto!!! Y el primer reto comienza hoy!!! He echado tanto de menos a Andrea, sus retos y sus ideas locas, asi que hoy es un dia genial y empieza la diversion ;-) Aqui esta mi tarjeta:

The theme of the challenge is FLOWERS and I decided to use the orchids from La Pareja Creativa.

I white embossed the stamp over grey cardstock, and then I die cut the orchids out of vellum and glitter cardstock. I colored the stem with a glitter pen and then put the orchids together.

El tema del reto es FLORES y me decidí por las orquideas de La Pareja Creativa.
Lo primero fue embosarlas en blanco sobre una cartulina gris, y troquelé las orquideas de vellum y cartulina con purpurina. "Coloreé" el tallo utilizando un boli de purpurina y monté las flores que habia troquelado.

A new challenge... Un nuevo reto

Like every other Friday, today it's the beginning of a new challenge  at 3 flowers-retos de tarjetas, and this is a fun one! Mariaje is the challenger this time and she is an incredible scrapbooker, so she decided on a LO scraplift, and here is my take:

Hoy Viernes, comienza un nuevo reto en 3flowes-retos de tarjetas, y este es super divertido! Mariaje es nuestra retadora esta vez y ella es una scrapbooker increible, asi que se decidió por un scraplift de un LO, y aqui esta mi interpretacion:

You are supposed to scraplift one of your LOs for this challenge, but as you probably know, I'm not a scrapbooker, so Andrea gave me one of Mariaje's LO for this challenge.
I was inspired by the gold stripes and the white space, so I decided to use that in my card.
For the stripes I used thin double sided tape and gold foil. The letters were white chipboard, so I covered them in Versamark and embossed them with gold glitter embossing powder from WOW. I added some gold splatters on the background, and to finish it off, I colored a flower using my alcohol markers.

El reto consiste en scrapliftear uno de vuestros LOs, pero como ya sabeis, yo no hapo páginas, asi que Andrea me envió uno de los de Mariaje para el reto.
Me inspiré en las rayas doradas y todo el espacio blanco que me encanto, y lo llevé a mi tarjeta.
Para crear las rayas he utilizado una cinta adhesiva de doble cara finita, y un foil dorado. Las letras eran de chipboard blanco, pero las cubrí con versamark, y en polvos de embossing dorados con purpurina de WOW. En el fondo añadí salpicaduras doradas, y para terminar, coloreé una flor utilizando los rotus de alcohol.

If I would get to make this card again, I would probably add more flowers, but I'm happy with the end result.
I gave the flower and leaves some dimension with foam adhesive.

Si volveria a hacer esta tarjeta, seguramente añadiría más flores, pero me gusta como ha quedado.
Le dí algo de dimension a la flor con adhesivo de espuma.

Clean and Simple 4 Day 1... Día 1

You probably already know this, but in case you don't I should tell you that I LOVE Online Card Classes, specially all the Clean and Simple ones! So I'm so happy to start playing around with all the great techniques that they showed us on Day 1. Here is the card I created:

Probablemente ya sepais esto, pero si no es asi, debo contaros que me vuelven loca las clases de Online Card Classes, sobre todo las de Clean and Simple! Asi que me moria de ganas de que empezara y poder probar las tecnicas que nos han enseñado en el Dia 1. Esta es la tarjeta que he creado:

Jennifer McGuire showed us this technique, and I couldn't believe how easy it was to make! If you want to learn how this technique works, go sign up! 
For the background I used one of my new embossing powders called Calypso, from WOW, and isn't it gorgeous? I love it! And it's so shiny!!!
I don't know if the picture is very clear, but it's a flat card, I mean, the tag is not really "there" so to make it more "realistic" I used the thread die from La Pareja Creativa, I poked a hole where the tag hole would be and added the "thread". Here is a close up:

Esta tecnica nos la ha enseñado Jennifer McGuire, y no podia creerme lo facil que es de hacer! Si quieres saber como se hace, corre y apuntate!
Para el fondo he utilizado uno de mis polvos de embossing nuevos, Calypso de WOW, no es precioso? Me encanta! Es tan brillante!
No sé si en la foto ha quedado muy claro, pero la tarjeta es plana, quiero decir, que la etiqueta no esta "ahi", asi que para hacerla más realista, he utilizado el troquel de hilo de La Pareja Creativa, y lo he colocado como si atravesaria la etiqueta. Aqui podeis verlo un poco mejor:

Estoy deseando probar el resto de las tecnicas que nos han enseñado en el Dia 1, pero me falta tiempo! Esperemos que hoy saque un rato para hacer un par de tarjetas ;-)

The third challenge... El tercer reto

Today it's the beginning of the third "no-challenge" at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. And this time, you have to use a wreath and twine! Here is my card:

Hoy comienza un nuevo "no reto" en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. Y esta vez teneis que utilizar una corona y twine! Aqui os dejo mi tarjeta:

This time I went with traditional Christmas colors, and to add the twine I did a little embroidery. Yes, I must be crazy! But it was a lot of fun to try something knew, and it wasn't as difficult as I thought it was gonna be. The stamps I used this time are from Clearly Besotted, aren't they cute?

Esta vez me he decantado por unos colores navideños mas tradicionales, y para añadir el twine, me puse a bordar. Si, que debo estar loca! Pero la verdad es que me lo pase bien intentandolo, y no fue tan dificil como me imaginaba. Los sellos que he utilizado son de Clearly Besotted, a que son una monada?

Asi que ahora pasaros por el blog a ver las maravillas que han preparado el resto de las chicas!

You and Me... Tu y Yo

Hi everyone!
How is it going? I've been really busy around here! My in-laws stayed over for a couple of days and I've been making cards like crazy, but not sharing enough around here, sorry about that!
Here is today's card:
Hola hola!
Que tal va todo? Yo he andado bastante ocupada por aqui! Mis suegros estuvieron de visita unos dias y he estado haciendo tarjetas como una loca, pero no he estado compartiendo mucho por aqui, ya lo siento!
Aqui esta la tarjeta de hoy: 

I wish you could see the dimension on the picture! I run the stencil through the Cuttlebug using the embossing rubber mat. Then I inked through the stencil , so the words are raised and inked. Then I added the cirlce sentiment and a twine bow.

Es una pena que no se vea mejor la dimension de las letras en la foto! Utilicé el stencil (plantilla) con la goma de la cuttlebug para que las letras quedaran en relieve. Despues utilizando el aplicador de tinta y las distress añadí el color. Para terminar la tarjeta añadí el sentimiento en el circulo y la lazada de cordel.
Asi que, has utilizado ya tus stencils para añadir relieve con tu maquina de troquelar? Pues pruebalo y ya de paso, participa en el reto de A Blog Named Hero, que como siempre, esta patrocinado por Simon Says Stamp:
