Lo ultimo que os enseñé por aquí fue la tarjeta del día del padre de este año, pero es que aun no os he enseñado por aquí, la tarjeta del día del padre del año pasado, así que aquí va:

The last card I showed you here was this year's Father's day card, but I never showed you last year's, so here it is:

Esta tarjeta fue muy divertida de hacer y la verdad es que disfrute mucho. Decidí utilizar la regadera del set de troqueles "Margaritas" para crear unas jarras de cerveza. Después coloreé una pieza con copics para que fuera la cerveza, y para la espuma utilicé unos troqueles de nubes.

This card was super fun to make and I had a blast with the whole process. I decided to use the watering can from the set "Margaritas" to create my beer glasses. I colored a smaller piece using copics to be the beer, and for the foam I used some clouds.

La verdad es que quedaron mucho mejor de lo que me imaginaba, y despues de ponerles una capa de glossy accents encima, tenían el brillo que necesita una jarra de cristal:

They turned out much better than I expected and after adding a layer of Glossy Accents on top, they had the shine that you expect from a glass:

Tarjeta Día del Padre... Father's Day Card

Sigo compartiendo trabajos atrasados y hoy toca la tarjeta que hice este año para el día del padre ;-)

I'm still sharing the cards that I haven't shared here yet, and it's time for the father's day card I made this year ;-)

Quería crear una camisa utilizando el troquel de "Body Grande" con algunas modificaciones, y aquí podeis ver los pequeños cambios que he hecho:

I wanted to make a shirt using the die "Body grande" with a few modifications, and here you can see the small changes I made:



¿Qué os ha parecido? A mi es que me encanta darles un uso nuevo a los troqueles, porque tienes muchas más posibilidades

Did you like it? I just love finding new uses for the dies, cause then you get much more out of them

Card kit from SSS... Kit Tarjetero de SSS

Hi there!
Do you all do the whole new year resolution thing? I do... well, I try! And this year I decided to play along with more challenges, to use more of the scrappy goodies that are waiting to be used and to make cards for fun more often. 
We'll see how it goes, but today I have the first post playing along with a challenge, and here is the card:

¿Vosotros haceis eso de los propositos de año nuevo? Yo si... bueno, o por lo menos lo intento! Y este año me he propuesto participar en mas retos, utilizar mas de las cositas scraperas que tengo sin usar y hacer tarjetas porque si, de vez en cuando. Veremos si lo consigo, pero de momento hoy, estoy participando en un reto, y aqui va la tarjeta:

One of the Christmas presents I received from myself was a subscription to the Simon Says Stamp card kit. Yayyyy! I've wanted to sign up for so long, but I always kept delaying it. 
So I received my January Card Kit, and it made me so happy! It's so cool to get that box and I couldn't wait to use it! 
I decided to play along with the Wednesday challenge from Simon Says Stamp, that the theme this week was "It's a guy thing". So I picked the wood patterned paper from the kit, that gorgeous "thinking of you" stamp and some of the wintery stamp images.
To give texture to the card base I dry embossed it with the "Stripes" embossing folder from Tim Holtz. And I added some white splatters using Picket Fence Distress stain.
I white embossed the sentiment on the card base and on the tag, and puzzle them together. And I added a little white embossed heart, that comes in the stamp set from the kit, to participate in the Work it Wednesday challenge from SSS too, that is all about "LOVE". 

Uno de los regalos navideños que me hice a mi misma fue una suscripcion al kit tarjetero de Simon Says Stamp. Tomaaaaa! Llevaba un monton de tiempo queriendo apuntarme pero siempre lo retrasaba.
Asi que cuando me llego la cajita con mi kit de Enero me hizo tan feliz! Estaba deseando utilizarlo!
Me decidí a participar en el reto de los miercoles de Simon Says Stamp, que el tema de esta semana es hacer una tarjeta masculina. Asi que con el papel de madera del kit, la preciosa frase "thinking of you" del kit de sellos y algunos de los sellos invernales me puse a ello.
Para darle textura a la base de la tarjeta, la embosé con la carpeta "Stripes" de Tim Holtz y le añadí unas salpicaduras con la Distress Stain Picket Fence.
Con polvos de embossing blancos añadí la frase a la tarjeta y a la etiqueta y las coloqué para que coincidieran. Y añadí un pequeño corazon que tambien viene en el kit de sellos, para poder participar en el reto "Work it Wednesday" tambien de Simon Says Stamp, que el tema es "AMOR".

Isn't that wood paper to die for? Sooooo pretty!

2014 at 3flowers... 2014 en 3flowers

Today we are starting a new challenge at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, and I had so much fun with this one. Andrea's challenges are always fun and this one surprised me when she told us. This time we have to use the numbers 2, 0, 1 and 4, but it can't be a Christmasy card! Here is my take on the challenge:

Hoy comienza un nuevo reto en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, y me he divertido mucho con este. Los retos que se le ocurren a Andrea siempre son una pasada, pero este me dejo sorprendida cuando nos lo dijo. Esta vez teneis que utilizar los numeros 2, 0, 1 y 4, pero no puede ser una tarjeta navideña! Y aqui esta lo que se me ocurrió a mi:

I used a number die cut from the Silhouette store, that I die cut out of white cardstock. Then using some distress inks, sprays and water I colored it. After I dried it I added some white dots with a pigment ink.
I thought the colors were perfect for a masculine card, and I decided to do a "love" card ;-)
I decorated the card base with a number border stamp from Kelly Purkey, and I used the polaroid frame from Lawn Fawn to make the numbers the focal point of this card.
Now you should go check out the blog, because the girls made some amazing cards with this fun challenge. Seriously amazing! And play along too ;-)

He utilizado un archivo de corte de numeros de la Silhouette, y lo corte en cartulina blanca. Despues, utilizando tintas distress, sprays y agua lo coloreé. Una vez se secó, añadí unos puntitos con tinta de pigmento blanca.
Me pareció que los colores eran perfectos para una tarjeta masculina, asi que me decidí por una tarjeta de "amor" ;-)
Para decorar la base de la tarjeta, utilicé un sello de borde de numeros de Kelly Purkey, y con el marco de la polaroid de Lawn Fawn, le dí protagonismo a los números.
Ahora no puedes dejar de pasar por el blog, porque las chicas han preparado unas tarjetas espectaculares para este reto. Increibles de verdad! Y por supuesto, no dejeis de participar ;-)

Bokeh Challenge at ABNH...Reto Bokeh en ABNH

Hi everyone!
Today I have a couple of things to share with you because I've been a bad blogger :-(
My MIL is staying with us for a few days, and yesterday we were out celebrating my birthday (yay! I love birthdays). So I've been neglecting the blog, but I'm back!
Let's start with the challenge. It's time for a new challenge at ABNH, and I have to say that it was a difficult one for me. Here is the card:

Hoy tengo un par de cosas que compartir con vosotros, ya que he sido una bloguera muuuy mala :-(
Mi suegra está de visita durante unos dias, y ayer estuvimos celebrando mi cumpleaños (Bieeeen! Me encantan los cumpleaños). Así que he tenido el blog un poco abandonado, pero estoy de vuelta!
Empezamos por el nuevo reto de ABNH, y tengo que decir que éste ha sido de los dificiles. Pero aquí está mi tarjeta:

Do you know what Bokeh is? You have some examples in the blog post at ABNH, but it is a photography effect were spots of light are out of focus.
I have to say that it was very hard to figure out how to do that on a card, and it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it, but it was fun :-)
I created a watercolor gradient for the background using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft pencils and water. On a small piece of white cardstock I stamped the hearts with different colors of ink, doing second generation stamping too. As I wanted them to be softer, I cut a piece of vellum slightly bigger to put over it. Then I die cut the polaroid frame from Hero Arts with my Silhouette and glued them all together at different angles.
The camera clip is from Findingnana and it has to be the cutest embellisment I've ever used. I added a small glitter heart in the center, and stamped the sentiment with brown ink.

¿Sabes lo que es Bokeh? Tienes algunos ejemplos en la entrada de ABNH, pero es un efecto en fotografia, donde puntos de luz estan desenfocados.
Tengo que decir que fue muy dificil encontrar una manera de plasmar eso en una tarjeta, y que no ha quedado como quería, pero me lo pasé bien intentandolo :-)
Comencé creando un fondo en gradiente con lapices acuarelables de Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. En un cuadrado pequeño de cartulina blanca, fuí estampando corazones utilizando varias tintas, y el estampado de segunda generación (estampar dos veces sin volver a entintar el sello)
Como quería que los corazones no estuvieran muy definidos, corté un pedazo de vellum (papel vegetal) un poco más grande que la cartulina de los corazones y lo coloqué sobre ésta.
Corté el marco de la polaroid de Hero Arts para la Silhouette y los pegué juntos a diferentes angulos.
El clip de la cámara es de Findingnana y tiene que ser el adorno más mono que he utilizado nunca en mis tarjetas. Le añadí un corazón de purpurina en el centro, y estampé el sentimiento con tinta marrón.
