El Viernes pasado fue un dia muy especial, porque por fin volvian los retos de Andrea en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. Con Andrea nunca sabes lo que va a pasar y te llena la vida de sorpresas. Cuando menos te lo esperas te envia un email con una de sus locuras, y siempre consigue meterte en el jaleo y que encima lo disfrutes.
Este año no tenia muy claro si podria continuar en el DT... con Oliver aun tan pequeño, mi padre que aun sigue con sus problemas de salud y la sensacion de que no llego a nada, me lo pensé un par de dias. Pero como os he dicho Andrea es especial y me encanta formar parte de esta comunidad de flores que es tan magica, por lo que le dije que pa'lante... que ya me las apañaria.
Empezar, no empecé muy bien, ya que llego una semana tarde al primer reto, pero es que no me daban las horas del dia. Pero como mas vale tarde que nunca, aqui va mi colaboracion para este reto:
Last Friday was a very special day, because the new season of challenges at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas started. Andrea is full of surprises and you never know what she's gonna do. When you least expect it, you get an email from her with a crazy plan, and somehow she always gets you to participate and have a great time doing it.
This year I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to continue in this DT... with Oliver being so young, mi dad still having health issues and not having time for anything, I had to think about it for a couple of days. But like I said, Andrea is pretty special, and I love being a part of this amazing community, so I said a big yes, and I would have to figure out how to do it all.
The beginning was not very good, as I didn't make it to the challenge on time, but better late than never, here is my collaboration for this challenge:
El tema de este reto es crear un duo de tarjetas de San Valentin! Si, si,... que a Andrea no le valia solo con una jeje. Además tenian que estar relacionadas de alguna manera. Yo me decidí por crear 2 tarjetas con la misma colección de papeles y acetato, pero dandole a una un toque más femenino y a la otra un toque más masculino.
The them of this challenge is to make two Valentine's Day cards! Yes, I know... Andrea didn't think one was enough LOL! Also they had to coordinate somehow. I decided to make both cards with the same paper collection and acetate, but make one more femenine, and the other one more masculine.
Para la femenina, he utilizado unos papeles más rosas y floreados, con la tarjeta de acetato y unos troqueles de corazones. Me gusta que parece que estan flotando :-)
For the femenine card, I used papers more pinkish or with flowers, the acetate card and perfect nesting heart dies. I love how it looks like they are floating :-)
El papel de flores esta pegado por el interior de la tarjeta, para asi tapar el pegamento de los corazones del frente. Y por supuesto, algo de dimension tenia que haber!
La tarjeta masculina la hice en cuadrado utilizando un papel de madera de la misma coleccion y una hoja de libro:
The paper with the flowers is glued on the inside of the card to cover the glue from the hearts on the front. And obviously, I had to add some dimension!
The masculine card is square and I used a wood paper from the same pad, and a book page:
El troquel de corazon no es tan perfecto, y le da ese toque más masculino a la tarjeta. Para el mensaje he utilizado la pegatina de "XOXO" y la de papel tipo "Dymo" de la misma coleccion.
The heart die is not as "perfect", so it gives the card a more masculine look. For the sentiment, I used the "XOXO" sticker and the other one that looks like a "Dymo" label from the same collection.
Y bueno, espero que os hayan gustado y os animeis a acompañarnos en esta nueva temporada de flores. Además pasaros por el blog para ver lo que han hecho mis compis, porque os va a encantar!!!!

Hoy estoy por aqui compartiendo el reto de Febrero de La Pareja Creativa. Ya hace unos cuantos dias que ha comenzado, pero aun no os habia enseñado mi tarjeta:

Today I stop by to share the February challenge at La Pareja Creativa. It started a few days ago, but I still hadn't shared my card around here:
El tema del reto es AMOR, como no podia ser de otra manera en Febrero, y como teniamos una ola de frio, pues decidi seguir utilizando los muñecos de nieve que son tan monos. Le añadí un gorrito y una bufanda muy bien coordinadas, y no podía faltar el corazón :-)
The theme of the challenge is LOVE, as it couldn't be anything else in February. And because we had really cold weather, I decided to use the snowmen dies cause they are so cute. I gave him a cute hat with a coordinating scarf, and obviously a little heart :-)
Y creé la escena con varios arboles y colinas nevadas troqueladas de diferentes colores para darle profundidad. En las fotos no se aprecia muy bien, pero le dí un tono azul a la zona del fondo con tinta distress y el aplicador. Y ya solo me quedaba estampar el mensaje, que es perfecto para este reto!
I completed the scene with a few trees and snowhills that I die cut out of different colors of cardstock to give it depth. In the pics you can't really see it, but I gave the background a very faint blue color with distress inks and an applicator. And the only thing left to do, was stamp the message, that is perfect for this challenge theme!
Espero que os animeis a participar, que con San Valentin a la vuelta de la esquina seguro que algo scrapeais ;-)
