Hi everyone! Wow, it's been a long time! I have been a VERY bad blogger, sorry ;) It's just between getting used to my new job, and friends visiting, and getting ill, I didn't have time to blog or even craft!!
But this week, as I was ill, and not going anywhere, I made some cards, yay!!! I got three new packages on the mail, so lots of new goodies to play with! And I am still waiting for my package from Hero Arts!! So be prepared to see lots of new things!
Ok, this is the card I am sharing with you today:
I bought my first two stamp sets from Paper Smooches, and they are soooo cute, and great quality!
I stamped the frog and the crown with black Memento ink and colored them using my promarkers.
Using my Silhouette, I cut from white cardstock, the pond (that I made with two oval shapes), the cattails (design from HA for the Silhouette) and the labels for the sentiment.
I used distress inks to color the pond and cattails. I stamped the sentiment with black Memento ink and colored the bigger label using a promarker.
I glued everything down, putting the frog and sentiments on dimensionals.
Then I added some Glossy Accents to some parts of the card.
Here is a close up:
I LOOOOVE those super cute animals from Paper Smooches! Expect to see lots of cards using them!
I am going to enter the current Simon Says Stamp Challenge with this card. The challenge is Nursery Rhymes or Fairytales, so I thought the frog turning into a prince was the perfect inspiration ;)
You still have time to enter the challenge, so make a card and link it, because you could win:
Ok, have to go make dinner now, but I will be here tomorrow to share another card, I promise!!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked it!!
Delightful card, Cris! Nice to see a post from you - hope you feel better soon!
