Christmas Event at ABNH... Evento Navideño en ABNH

Tree Challenge... Reto Arbol

We are starting a new challenge at 3flowers - retos de tarjetas. And this time we ask you to use a TREE, but not a Christmas tree ;-) We are not starting with Christmas just yet over there! And here is my card:

Hoy comienza un nuevo reto en 3flowers - retos de tarjetas. Y esta vez te pedimos que utilices un ARBOL, peeeeero no puede ser un árbol Navideño ;-) Aun no empezamos la Navidad en 3flowers! Aquí os dejo mi tarjeta:

When Andrea told us we couldn't use a Christmas tree, I was like... "What?, No Christmas?" So it was a bit hard to come up with this card, but I kind of like how it turned out. I wanted to use a tree silhouette, but I didn't want to use black. I decided to use soft colors, so I created a background with distress inks.
The sentiment is from La Pareja Creativa ;-)

Cuando Andrea nos dijo que no podíamos utilizar un árbol Navideño, me quede como... "¿Qué? No puede ser Navideño?" :-O Así que me costó un poco empezar esta tarjeta, pero una vez terminada no me disgusta. Me decidí por una silueta de un árbol, pero no quería hacerla en negro. Así que me decidí por colores claros, y un fondo suavecito que hice con tintas distress.
La frase es de La Pareja Creativa ;-)

November Challenge at LPC... Reto de Noviembre en LPC

A new month means a new challenge at La Pareja Creativa, and this is the card I made:

I decided to go for a watercolor look, using watercolor pencils and water, over white embossed images.
This time our product of the month is a Christmas set, and the challenge asks for "Something Festive", so it's the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas projects.

Me apetecia darle un toque de acuarela, por lo que he utilizado lapices acuarelables con agua, sobre las imagenes embosadas en blanco.
Esta vez, nuestro producto del mes es el set navideño "Verdor de la Navidad", y el reto consiste en "Algo Festivo", asi que es la oportunidad perfecta para empezar pronto con esos proyectos navideños que luego tenemos que hacer a toda prisa.

Looking back through my posts, I saw that there were a few things that I forgot to share over here, so I have to fix that ;-)

Estaba mirando las entradas del blog, y me he dado cuenta que me he olvidado de compartir un monton de cosas, asi que eso hay que solucionarlo ;-)

I was inspired by the colors and the knitted material. And I used the round border die to mimic the wreath a little bit. So stop by the blog and play along with us!

Yo me inspire en los colores, y en el tejido de punto. Y he utilizado nuestro troquel redondeado de "Bordes Decorativos" para representar un poco la forma circular de la corona. Asi que pasaros por el blog y participad!

"3" Challenge... Reto "3"

We are starting our 4th year at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, and we have videos, cards, and a lot of crazy things on the way. We are starting with a challenge, we you have to use 3 of something. And here is my card:

Comenzamos nuestra 4ª temporada en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, y tenemos videos, tarjetas, intercambios y un monton de locuras mas que Andrea tiene en la manga. Para el primer reto que os proponemos teneis que utilizar 3 de algo. Y aqui esta mi tarjeta:

I couldn't wait to use the cute bat from the Spooktacular set, from Lawn Fawn. Aren't they cute?

Estaba deseando utilizar el murcielago del set Spooktacular de Lawn Fawn. ¿A que es una monada?

I used a masked moon and distress inks for the background. I colored the bats with Spectrum Noir markers, and gave them little feet so they could hold the signs ;-)

Para crear el fondo enmascare la luna (aunque parece un sol) y utilice las tintas distress. Los murcielagos los coloree con los rotuladores Spectrum Noir, y les añadí unos pequeños pies para que pudieran sujetar los cartelitos ;-)

Recycle with ABNH... A reciclar con ABNH

Today we start a new challenge at A Blog Named Hero and you have to recycle something to participate. Here is my project:

Hoy empieza un nuevo reto en A Blog Named Hero y esta vez toca reciclar para participar. Aqui esta mi trabajito:

I was gonna make a card, but this sandwich bag needed to be recycled. So I gave it a scalloped border, stamped those gorgeous leaves from Hero Arts, and added the papers and sequins from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn too.

La verdad es que iba a hacer una tarjeta, pero esa bolsa para bocadillos tenia que ser reciclada. Asi que le di un borde de feston, estampe las hojas de Hero Arts, y añadí los papeles y lentejuelas de Lawn Fawn. La frasecita tambien es de Lawn fawn.

As you probably know already, we are collaborating with Lawn Fawn this month ;-)

Seguramente ya sabras que este mes estamos colaborando con Lawn Fawn ;-)
