3 tags this time...

Hello, hello! The weekend is coming to an end, and I wanted to share some more tags with you before I go to sleep. Let's do it one at a time:
Love this cute penguin from Hero Arts. I started by die cutting the different parts of the penguin out of white cardstock, and colored them using distress inks. For the hat and the scarf I sketched the penguin on one of the papers from the Nordic Holidays paper pad, and then hand cut them. Glued all the parts together, and added glossy accents to some parts.
For the tag I used watercolor paper, that I colored using Antique Linen, and Broken china with Chipped Sapphire for the edges. Then I added the snow bank, glued the penguin and added some Diamond Stickles.

Now onto the second tag:
For this tag, I started by sketching the wreath onto the watercolor paper. Then I colored the wreath and rainbow using distress inks as watercolors and I covered it with glossy accents. I distress the edges using an ink applicator and Iced Spruce, Pumice Stone and Black Soot distress inks. Added lots of rhinestones and the ribbon, and it was finished!

And the last tag:
For this tag I sketched the owl onto the watercolor tag and onto some paper from the Nordic Holidays paper pad. Colored the tag using Antique Linen, and Vintage photo and Gathered Twigs for the edges. Then I used a tiny piece of white cardstock so I make the owl stand on something. I colored the scarf using a promarker, and I added some Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents. For the ribbon, I used white ribbon that I colored using the same promarker I used for the scarf.

Reindeer Tag

I'm back with another tag today, and this time I did some paper piecing:
I started by cutting the Hero Arts tag without the web out of watercolor paper. The only reason I used watercolor paper is because I wanted the tag to have some texture. I decided to sketch the reindeer first, so I didn't have to worry about the antlers breaking as the design is so intricate. Then I used Broken China and an ink applicator to color the entire tag, and I used Weathered Wood, Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs just around the edges.
Then I cut the Reindeer out of patterned paper from the Nordic Holidays pack by Basic Grey. I hand cut a snow bank from white cardstock, glued it to the front of the tag, and stamped the sentiment. For the sentiment I cut out variuous Hero Arts sentiments, so I got the words I wanted to use.
Then I glued the reindeer to the tag, added some glossy Accents for the eye and some Diamond Stickles to the snow bank. I added dots of stickles to make it look like it was snowing, so sparkly!!
Entering this tag in the same two challenges, Hero Arts:
and Simon Says Stamp Challlenge:
