Today I have a card for you:
Made this card for the current Sparks challenge and this is the photo for the inspiration:
I don't know why, but when I saw this picture, the first thing that came to my head were hearts (probably cause I don't have any frame stamps ;-)). So I started by cutting a label with my silhouette out of white cardstock and coloring it using Broken China and an ink applicator. For the sentiment, I used versamark ink, and white embossed it onto the front panel.
On a separate piece of paper I stamped all the Paper Smooches hearts I own using Versamark ink and white embossed them. Then I used different inks to colored them (emboss resist). Some of the hearts were stamped directly onto the front panel, and others were stamped on white cardstock, and hand cut with a white border. On one of the hearts, I tried the kissing technique, just to give it some texture. Here is a close up of the hearts:
For the monster, I stamped it on white cardstock using black Memento ink and colored it using promarkers. After I cut it, I adhered it to the front of the card using dimensionals. The hearts were glued to the front panel using the glue pen or foam dimensionals. Then I covered some of them with Glossy Accents, and I covered the monster's eyes, horns and tooth too.
I used dimensionals to adhere the panel to the front of a card base and finished. You still have time to play over at Paper Smooches Sparks!
Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!!!
