Today I'm sharing a Christmas card using the cutest reindeer ever. I just couldn't wait to color it!
Hoy os traigo una tarjeta Navideña utilizando el reno más mono del mundo entero. ¡Y es que estaba deseando colorearlo!
I created a cute little window using lots of products from La Pareja Creativa. I inked the background on a soft blue, and then I added some white embossing paste over the "Nieve" stencil. Before the paste dried, I covered it with white glitter to give it some sparkle ;-)
I used copics to color the reindeer (I still have to practice a lot) and covered the hat and nose with Glossy Accents. I added some black enamel accents over the eyes to make them shine.
Empecé con una ventanita muy mona utilizando productos de La Pareja Creativa. Entinté el fondo de un azul clarito, y despues añadí pasta de embossing blanca sobre el stencil "Nieve". Antes de que se secara la pasta, la cubrí con purpurina blanca para darle algun brillito ;-)
Utilicé copics para colorear el reno (aún me queda mucha practica) y cubrí el gorrito y la nariz con Glossy Accents. A los ojos les puse Enamel Accents negro para darles brillo.
I paper pieced the scarf with that cute polka dot paper from Lawn Fawn. And I curved the sentiment to fit around the window.
I can't wait to use that cute reindeer in lots of Christmas cards this year!

December is finally here and it brings a new challenge at La Pareja Creativa! And obviously Christmas theme projects are gonna be all over the place, starting with this card:
Ya estamos en Diciembre y nos trae un nuevo reto en La Pareja Creativa! Y por supuesto, va a haber trabajitos navideños para cansar, y yo he hecho esta tarjeta:

And let's talk about the challenge. This time is color challenge, and although I love it, it was a bit hard to use on a Christmas card. Here is the color combination:
Y vamos con el reto. Esta vez se trata de un reto de color, y aunque me encanta la combinación, ha sido un poco duro utilizarla en una tarjeta Navideña. Aqui estan los colores:
I decided to use the stencil for my project, and I went with the aqua colors for my tree branches. I used the red for the ornament, and the grey as a frame using the "Etiqueta Abierta" die.
The yellow was were it got a bit more difficult. I added gold pigment ink and embossing powder for the bow and cord of the ornament, but it was too dark... so I used a yellow card base to complete the challenge.
Decidí utilizar el stencil en mi tarjeta, y los colores aqua los use para las ramas del arbol. El rojo fue para el adorno, y el gris lo puse como marco con el troquel "Etiqueta Abierta".
Meter el amarillo me resulto algo más complicado. Añadí tinta de pigmento dorada y polvos de embossing dorados sobre el lazo y el colgante del adorno, pero me pareció muy oscuro... asi que utilice la base de la tarjeta en amarillo para completar el reto.
The sentiment is from the "Renos Navideños" set, that I curved to follow the shape of the banner.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone that's celebrating it!
Today I'm back with a card using the November card kit from Simon. I'm so happy that I don't have to use it anymore ;-) Today's card is a bit weird, and I'm not sure I really like it, but I wanted to use the die cuts from the kit, and this is the result:

Hoy estoy de vuelta utilizando el kit de Noviembre de Simon. Me hace tanta ilusion no tener que volver a usarlo ;-) La tarjeta de hoy es un poco raruna, y no estoy muy segura de que me guste, pero queria utilizar uno de los die cuts que venian en el kit y este ha sido el resultado:
Because of what people are celebrating today, I decided to make a "Thank you" card. And I used that cute squirrel, creating a little scene.
I started with one of the card bases from the kit, then I glued down the leafy paper from the kit. Using the green cardstock I die cut some grass, and a frame from white cardstock using the "Rectangulos Cosidos A6" from LPC.
I blended some distress inks over the background to create the sky. And for the sentiment, a little strip of brown cardstock with the message from the stamp set.
I added some dimension, so the card wouldn't be so simple:
Por lo que la gente esta celebrando hoy, me decidí a hacer una tarjeta de "Gracias". Y he utilizado esa ardillita tan mona para crear una pequeña escena.
Comencé con una de las bases de tarjeta del kit, y lo cubrí con uno de los papeles decorados que venian en el kit. Utilizando la cartulina verde, troquelé la hierba, y un marco de cartulina blanca con los "Rectangulos Cosidos A6" de LPC.
Creé el cielo con tintas distress, y para el mensaje, una tira de cartulina marron y uno de los sellos del set que viene en el kit.
Le dí dimension a la escena para que no quedara una tarjeta tan simple:
