August Blog Hop #2... Salto de blogs de Agosto #2

It's Thursday again, and we have a new hop with the card kit from August from SSS. And here is my card:

De nuevo estamos a Jueves, y tenemos un nuevo salto de blogs utilizando el kit tarjetero de Agosto de SSS. Y aqui va mi tarjeta:

As I said last week, the thing I like the least about this kit are the colors. So I decided to change that inspired in this week Wednesday challenge from SSS :-)
I went with another of those awesome preembossed papers that come in the kit and I die cut a stitched circle out of it. Then using looooots of distress inks, including the two colors that come in the kit, I blended a rainbow of colors in a circle. I love how it turned out!

Como ya os comente la semana pasada, lo que menos me gustaba de este kit era la combinacion de colores. Asi que decidi cambiar eso y me inspiré en el reto del Miercoles de SSS :-)
He utilizado otro de esos papeles preembosados que me han gustado tanto del kit, y he troquelado un circulo cosido. Despues, utilizando un monton de tintas distress, incluyendo los dos colores que vienen en el kit, fui mezclando los colors en un arco iris en circulo. Me encanta el resultado final!

Then I used one of my favorite dies from SSS that came in a previous kit, the "Painted Hello", and I die cut the word 4 times and glued them together. To complete the sentiment, I used one of the stamps from the kit, and to make sure it stamped over the embossed arrows, I used StazOn ink. 
Then I just had to put it all together. To create the card I used the nesting circle dies, and to create the round card, I always use two circles of the same size, I score a line at the top and cut a little bit from the bottom, and just glue it like this:

Despues he utilizado uno de mis troqueles favoritos de SSS que vino en un kit hace tiempo, el "Painted Hello", y lo troquele 4 veces pegandolos juntos. Para completar el mensaje he utilizado uno de los sellos del kit, y para asegurarme que se estampaba bien sobre las flechas embosadas, he utilizado tinta StazOn.
Despues solo tenia que montar la tarjeta. Para crear la tarjeta redonda he utilizado un set de circulos de diferentes tamaños, y he utilizado dos circulos del mismo tamaño. Uno de ellos tienes una pestaña doblada en la parte superior y un cachito cortado en la parte de abajo y lo pego asi:

That way the card is perfectly round from the front and it still stands without rolling away :-)
So you see the full card kit, here is a picture of the complete kit:

De esta manera la tarjeta es perfectamente redonda por delante y se queda de pie sin escaparse rodando :-)

And as I said at the beginning, I was inspired by this weeks Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp, that the theme is "Let's go wild" and I thought all the crazy arrows and the wild colors fit the challenge. What do you think?

Como os dije al comienzo de la entrada, me he inspirado en el reto de esta semana de los Miercoles de Simon Says Stamp, que como tema han elegido "Let's go wild" y pensé que las locas flechas del papel y la mezcla de colores cumplian con el reto. ¿Que os parece?
