Color Challenge at LPC... Reto de color en LPC

July is here and it's time for our new monthly challenge at La Pareja Creativa. This time we have a color challenge and here is my card:

Julio ya ha llegado y comienza un nuevo reto mensual en La Pareja Creativa.Esta vez se trata de un reto de color y aqui queda mi tarjeta:

And here is the picture with the colors from the challenge, and I have to say that I wouldn't mind sitting in one of those chairs right now ;-)

Y aqui os dejo la foto con los colores que hay que utilizar en el reto, y la verdad es que no me importaria estar sentadita en una de esas sillas ahora mismo ;-)

And as this is a new month, we have a new "product of the month", the "TQM" set, that you can get in the shop with a 20% off. 

Y como es nuevo mes, también tenemos un nuevo "producto del mes", el set "TQM", que lo tienes en la tienda con un 20% de descuento.

I used the die four times on a piece of white cardstock, and I adhered some acetate on the back. Then I glued the letters in the right place over the acetate.

He utilizado el troquel de TQM cuatro veces en una cartulina blanca, y le pegué acetato por detras. Despues utilizando las letras que había troquelado las adherí en el lugar adecuado sobre el acetato.

To go with the challenge colors I decided to use patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and green cardstock. For the card base I used "Slate" cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, and I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with white pigment ink.

Para utilizar los colores del reto, me decanté por un papel de Lawn Fawn y una cartulina verde. Para la base de la tarjeta he utilizado la cartulina "Slate" de Simon Says Stamp, y estampé una de las frases del set "TQM" con una tinta blanca de pigmento.

Mix Media for LPC... Mix Media para LPC

Balloons... Globos

Like every other Friday, it's time for a new challenge at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. And this would be the last official challenge until we come back after the holidays, but you should still stop by the blog, cause Andrea has some surprises ready. This challenge is about Balloons and here is my card:

Ya estamos a viernes y hoy tenemos nuevo reto en 3flowers-retos de tarjetas. Y éste va a ser el ultimo hasta que volvamos despues de las vacaciones, pero eso no quiere decir que el blog vaya a estar parado, porque Andrea tiene alguna que otra sorpresa preparada. Este reto pide Globos y ésta es mi tarjeta:

I had this stamp set from Paper Smooches for a long time, but I don't think I've ever used that monkey before, so it was about time. Just some coloring with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Markers on this one, and the blue paper is from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad.

Hace un montón que tengo este set de Paper Smooches, pero creo que nunca había utilizado el mono antes, así que ya iba siendo hora. He utilizado Promarkers y rotuladores Spectrum Noir para colorear el mono y los globitos, y el papel azul es de la colección Hello Sunshine de Lawn Fawn.

Ahora pasate por el blog para ver lo que han preparado el resto de las chicas y animaté a participar!!!!

Bokeh Challenge at ABNH...Reto Bokeh en ABNH

Hi everyone!
Today I have a couple of things to share with you because I've been a bad blogger :-(
My MIL is staying with us for a few days, and yesterday we were out celebrating my birthday (yay! I love birthdays). So I've been neglecting the blog, but I'm back!
Let's start with the challenge. It's time for a new challenge at ABNH, and I have to say that it was a difficult one for me. Here is the card:

¡Hola a todos!
Hoy tengo un par de cosas que compartir con vosotros, ya que he sido una bloguera muuuy mala :-(
Mi suegra está de visita durante unos dias, y ayer estuvimos celebrando mi cumpleaños (Bieeeen! Me encantan los cumpleaños). Así que he tenido el blog un poco abandonado, pero estoy de vuelta!
Empezamos por el nuevo reto de ABNH, y tengo que decir que éste ha sido de los dificiles. Pero aquí está mi tarjeta:

Do you know what Bokeh is? You have some examples in the blog post at ABNH, but it is a photography effect were spots of light are out of focus.
I have to say that it was very hard to figure out how to do that on a card, and it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it, but it was fun :-)
I created a watercolor gradient for the background using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft pencils and water. On a small piece of white cardstock I stamped the hearts with different colors of ink, doing second generation stamping too. As I wanted them to be softer, I cut a piece of vellum slightly bigger to put over it. Then I die cut the polaroid frame from Hero Arts with my Silhouette and glued them all together at different angles.
The camera clip is from Findingnana and it has to be the cutest embellisment I've ever used. I added a small glitter heart in the center, and stamped the sentiment with brown ink.

¿Sabes lo que es Bokeh? Tienes algunos ejemplos en la entrada de ABNH, pero es un efecto en fotografia, donde puntos de luz estan desenfocados.
Tengo que decir que fue muy dificil encontrar una manera de plasmar eso en una tarjeta, y que no ha quedado como quería, pero me lo pasé bien intentandolo :-)
Comencé creando un fondo en gradiente con lapices acuarelables de Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. En un cuadrado pequeño de cartulina blanca, fuí estampando corazones utilizando varias tintas, y el estampado de segunda generación (estampar dos veces sin volver a entintar el sello)
Como quería que los corazones no estuvieran muy definidos, corté un pedazo de vellum (papel vegetal) un poco más grande que la cartulina de los corazones y lo coloqué sobre ésta.
Corté el marco de la polaroid de Hero Arts para la Silhouette y los pegué juntos a diferentes angulos.
El clip de la cámara es de Findingnana y tiene que ser el adorno más mono que he utilizado nunca en mis tarjetas. Le añadí un corazón de purpurina en el centro, y estampé el sentimiento con tinta marrón.
