Happy Birthday Linda!

Hi everyone!
Today is Linda's birthday and to celebrate it we have a small blog hop! Yay! You should have got here from Steph's blog, but if you got lost, or you just arrived here by accident, start at Mary Dawn's blog!
When your birthday is in December (with all the holiday stuff stealing your thunder) you should get something extra to make it a bit special, so that's why you are hoping along ;-)
Here is my card for Linda:
I've been wanting to try the faux chalkboard trend for a while now, so this was the perfect opportunity. It took me a couple of tries to get it right, but at the end I got what I wanted, and I probably will be using this technique again, cause it is fun!
If you are gonna give it a go, I suggest you use the stamp press from Fiskars, cause it makes it SO much easier!
So the next stop on the hop is Melissa's blog, and don't forget to stop by Linda's blog to wish her a great day!
Happy Birthday Linda!

Still waiting for the winner

Hi there!
Sorry I haven't been around here lately, but I'm super busy with Christmas orders. It seems that everybody wants cards a week before Christmas, so I still have a crazy day ahead of me.
So I just wanted to say that I am still waiting for Maria Doricheva to contact me with her address, so I can send the goodies out.
If I still haven't heard from her tomorrow, I'll pick another winner!
I'll try to blog again later, if I finish the 25 cards that need to be done today!
Have a great day!

Shaker anniversary card!

*** If you are looking for my giveaway, click here!***

Hi everyone!
Today I have a shaker card for you. One of my hubby's friends asked me for an anniversary card for his wife, and I decided to try a shaker card.
I had so much fun making it:
I used a foam sheet with double sided tape to create the shaker window. It was very easy to make, using dies and the cuttlebug.
I stamped the sentiment over the acetate that covers the window, so it looks like it is floating.
I added some floating hearts over the front of the card, and I covered them with glossy accents.
I used punched hearts and sequins to fill the window, and glued some gems.
Here is a close up of the window:
If you haven't tried to make a shaker yet, you should give it a go!!!!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you liked it!!!

Finally open!

Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't blogged for ages, but I have been really busy. I had been thinking about this for a very long time, and I finally decided to just go for it.
I opened an Etsy shop! Yay!
I have been working on it for a while now, deciding what to sell, what to make, trying different materials, or designs. I have to say that I had a blast. It was so much fun, and I just hope that somebody out there finds something they like!
I just opened today, so I will be adding more products soon, but I need to catch up on all my other Christmas projects.
To celebrate this big day for me, I decided to have a giveaway!!!!
I added a couple of my favorite crafty supplies to some of the goodies that I will be selling over on Etsy.
I decided to try Rafflecopter for the first time, so I hope it doesn't give me any problems ;-)
