Hello Hello!
Today I have a card for you that I made for the current (not for very long, cause I'm always late) challenge over at Lawnscaping.
I thought it was about time to start making Halloween cards, although we don't celebrate it here and I'm probably never gonna use them. I got the "happy hunting" stamp set from Lawn Fawn a couple of weeks ago, and although it's not one of the new ones, I was super excited to get it, cause it's super cute!!
The challenge over at Lawnscaping is to use text on your card:
To add the text to my card, I stamped the long sentiment from that set several times just on the center of the card base. I like how it looks with the picture frame over the top.
Now, I'm not really sure if Lawn Fawn has tombstone stamps, but I know I don't have any, so I decided to make my own. I used this:
Sorry for the bad pic, but I had to use my phone for that one (ups!). Anyway, I thought that the door of the spooky house, was perfect for it. I just colored it, cut it out and wrote RIP with a black marker over it. Here you have a close up of the end result:
So there you go, just start looking at your stamps to see if you can use them in a different way! You still have a couple of hours left in this challenge, so if you have time, give it a go!
Also, this week is "Anything goes" over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog, so I will be entering that too.
Thanks for stopping by!

Long break...
Wow! That was a long internet break...
I'm sorry I haven't posted anything for so long, and I did miss it, but it seems that everytime I get ill my mojo just goes on holiday. I tried to make a couple of cards the other day and they were just a disaster.
The good news is that I'm taking the Kick Start Class from Online Card Classes, so I hope that brings my mojo back.
Another thing I wanted to let you know about is that there is a new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero, so don't forget to check it out and play along!!
Now I'm gonna do my class homework to see if I get some inspiration and I can be back tomorrow, but this time with a card!

Time for a new challenge!!!!
Hello everyone!
I'm back today with the new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero:
This time it's all about embossing, any kind of embossing!
Here is the card I made for this challenge:
I finally got to use the summer distress inks from Tim Holtz! I looove that pink, it is so bright! I just stamped the lotus background using Picked Raspberries, and then, after I clear embossed the lotus background on another piece of paper, I covered it with the same ink, so I would get the reverse image. I love the way the bright colors go with the black cardstock! And of course, to finish it off, I needed an embossed sentiment!
So now go over there, and check the cards from the rest of the DT, and play in this challenge cause you can win one of this:
Thank you for stopping by!
