Today I have a card for a couple of challenges. I wanted to use another one of my new stamps from Clearly Besotted, just to see how they worked with the coordinating dies, and I'm impressed, they cut like butter! Here is the card:
Hoy traigo una tarjeta que he hecho combinando un par de retos. Queria utilizar otro de mis nuevos sellos de Clearly Besotted para ver que tal funcionaban con los correspondientes troqueles, y me han dejado impresionada, porque cortan el papel como si fuera mantequilla! Aqui esta mi tarjeta:
I love how vibrant the flowers are, and so easy to use with the dies.
I made this card for the current Runway Inspired Challenge. I've wanted to play along for a while, but I think this is the first time I'm actually doing it. Here is the inpiration picture:
Me encanta como han quedado las flores con ese rojo brillante, y son tan faciles de utilizar con los troqueles.

I decided to go for the vibrant red of the jacket, and I used one of the Hero Arts background to mimic the skirt pattern.
As it is a Christmas card, I'm entering it into this weeks Simon Says Stamp Challenge:

I have to confess that I rarely do anything with the envelopes, but I had a lot of fun when making my project for the challenge, and here it is:

This month we are playing along with CAS-ual Fridays stamps too, so I used one of their Christmas sets to make this card along with some new stamps from Hero Arts.
For the envelope, I decided to add a strip of kraft cardstock, as that was the card base, and stamp the same flowers over it. I added another sentiment from the CAS-ual Fridays set on the envelope and one of the border stamps. I like how easy it is to coordinate them!

Este mes estamos utilizando sellos de la compañia CAS-ual Fridays, asi que utilice uno de sus nuevos sets navideños para hacer esta tarjeta, combinandolos con nuevos sellos de Hero Arts.
Para el sobre, decidi añadir una tira de cartulina kraft, ya que esa es la base de la tarjeta, y estampe las mismas flores. Estampe otra de las frases que venia en el set de CAS-ual Fridays en el sobre, y utilice uno de los sellos para crear bordes. Me gusta lo facil que son de combinar!

Today I'm playing along with the current Clearly Besotted Challenge. Just in case you don't know it, Clearly Besotted is a stamp company from the UK, and I love their stamp sets and coordinating dies. I've been wanting to get some of them for a while now, so I was very happy when my parcel arrived today. Here is the challenge picture:
Hoy estoy participando en el reto de Clearly Besotted. Por si aun no los conoces, Clearly Besotted es una compañia del Reino Unido, con sellos preciosos y tambien troqueles que coordinan a la perfeccion. Llevaba un tiempo queriendo probar sus sellos, asi que me he puesto muy contenta hoy cuando me ha llegado el paquete. Aqui esta la foto del reto:
So the challenge is to use some or all of the colors on the picture, or to make a fall card. I decided to use some of the colors and here is my card:
El reto consiste en utilizar varios o todos los colores de la foto, o en hacer una tarjeta otoñal. Me decidi por utilizar varios colores y esta es mi tarjeta:
Isn't that doily stamp the best? From the first time I saw it, I knew that it had to be mine!!! And it stamps beautifully, so much detail!!!
I wanted to make a CAS card, as I wanted the doily to be the focal point of the card. I just embossed it with white powder, added a strip of patterned paper on the side and mounted the panel with foam adhesive. Added some gems from Hero Arts, and done!

A que el sello de la blonda es espectacular? Desde la primera vez que lo vi, sabia que tenia que ser mio!!! Estampa perfectamente y tiene tanto detalle!!!
Queria que mi tarjeta fuera sencilla para que la blonda fuera la protagonista. Asi que lo estampe y utilice polvo de embossing blanco. Añadi una tira de papel en el lateral de la tarjeta y adheri el panel estampado con cinta dimensional de doble cara. Para terminar añadi unas gemas de Hero Arts!
